Guy spent five years working as a dive instructor in the beautiful Mexican Caribbean, where he witnessed the devastating impact of rising sea temperatures on the Mesoamerican Reef, the second-largest reef in the world. This experience sparked his deep commitment to sustainability.

Upon returning to Norwich, Guy teamed up with Jake to bring their shared vision to life. Together, they founded Surplush, with the goal of helping businesses save money on essential supplies like takeaway packaging, cleaning products and blue roll - while offering eco-friendly alternatives.

But Surplush didn't stop there. With a shared belief that business can be a force for good, they introduced an innovative eco-friendly delivery system. By using e-cargo bikes for the last mile of delivery, Surplush eliminates 99.88% of carbon emissions compared to traditional HGVs, significantly reducing environmental impact.
